The Farm at Walden Woods is looking for energetic, enthusiastic, and hardworking people for the 2015 season, starting now and ending October 31st. We are an organic, 8 acre, produce farm located on Route 2 eastbound in Concord, MA. As well as farming, we run a small farm stand Wednesdays-Sundays, 11 am-7 pm, from the end of June through Halloween, including July 4th, Labor Day, and Columbus Day. Depending on your interests and skill set, work will be either in the fields or in the farm stand. In fields, you will be expected to plant, weed, and harvest crops. In the farm stand, you will be expected to run the cash register, maintain inventory, engage with customers, and keep the space clean and orderly. Hours can vary, depending on how far along we are in the season. However, weekends are required once the farm stand opens. Both positions require flexibility, hard work, patience, and an ability to work for extended periods of time outdoors. We also ask that you be able to lift 30 lbs.
