Don Henley was in Concord on September 27, 2016 to help open the brand-new Visitor Center at Walden Pond State Reservation. Hundreds of people were on hand to see the innovative structure, and were treated to a trailer from the up-coming short film executive produced by Ken Burns that will be a permanent feature in the new building. As the official Friends of Walden Pond group, The Walden Woods Project is pleased to be working in close partnership with the Department of Conservation and Recreation.
