Show Information

Thank you for purchasing tickets to Clear Sky, Pure Light: An Evening with Henry David Thoreau!

You should have received an email with all information pertinent to the show (check your spam folder, if you didn’t see it). In case you did not, show logistics are outlined below:

TICKETS

There are no hard-copy tickets for this event. We have the reservation list, including those who have purchased tickets on-line, over the phone and in-person. When you arrive, please check-in using the name that was used to purchase your ticket(s). Just a reminder that tickets are non-refundable, but are transferable.  If, for any reason, you are not able to use your tickets and arrange for someone else to use them, please either have that person/group check-in using your name OR email us ahead of time with the new name that should be on your tickets.  If you did not purchase VIP tickets, you can still opt to join the post-show wine and cheese reception with the actor by paying $15 per person at the check-in table.

SEATING

Doors will open promptly at 6:30 PM on Saturday and 1:30 PM on Sunday. Seats will be reserved for VIP tickets at the front of the room. If the event sells out ahead of time, all other (non-VIP) seats will be general admission, on a first-come, first-served basis.  If there are seats remaining for sale the night of the show, those who purchased tickets in advance will have the seats directly behind the VIP section.  Please refer to signs in the room for seating directions. The program will be in the Tudor-style house. No food or beverages are allowed in the room where the performance will be held. Please plan accordingly.

DIRECTIONS/PARKING
The performance will take place at The Walden Woods Project’s Thoreau Institute. We are located at 44 Baker FARM Road in Lincoln. Heading North on 126, if you reach the Pond, you’ve gone too far.  Heading South on 126, if you reach Baker BRIDGE Road, you’ve gone too far. We are at the end of Baker Farm Road, which is otherwise all residential. Please note: There are 7 speed bumps along the road, marked with posts and pink or orange tape. The first speed bump is between the brick pillars at the base of the road.  Please look for the parking sign/sandwich board to direct you where to park.  Please park efficiently, so there is enough space for everyone.

Please let us know if you have any questions by emailing education@walden.org. (Note that we will only be on email periodically on Saturday and Sunday, so please try to contact us by the end of the business day on Friday, May 19, if possible!). Thanks again for being part of our celebration of Thoreau’s Bicentennial!  Enjoy the show!
