Walden – Illustrated Edition of the American Classic
$40.00
The most beautiful edition ever published of one of the most important books in American history! Â In August 1852, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt’s predecessor, Ticknor & Fields, published a book called Walden: Â or, Life in the Woods, by little-known writer named Henry David Thoreau. Â In August 2004, Houghton Mifflin, in association with The Walden Woods Project, proudly published a special 150th anniversary edition, beautifully illustrated with Scot Miller’s spectacular color photographs which capture Walden as vividly in images as Thoreau captured it in words. Â To coincide with The Walden Woods Project’s 25th anniversary, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing re-released this special book in 2015 with a new introduction by WWP founder Don Henley.
