Walden – Illustrated Edition of the American Classic

$40.00

The most beautiful edition ever published of one of the most important books in American history!  In August 1852, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt’s predecessor, Ticknor & Fields, published a book called Walden:  or, Life in the Woods, by little-known writer named Henry David Thoreau.  In August 2004, Houghton Mifflin, in association with The Walden Woods Project, proudly published a special 150th anniversary edition, beautifully illustrated with Scot Miller’s spectacular color photographs which capture Walden as vividly in images as Thoreau captured it in words.  To coincide with The Walden Woods Project’s 25th anniversary, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing re-released this special book in 2015 with a new introduction by WWP founder Don Henley.
