 ry David Thoreau and Ralph Waldo Emerson\, a thoughtfully researched\, mov
 ingly presented dual biography of two iconic American writers\, each tryin
 g to find the ideal friend with whom they could share their journey throug
 h our imperfect world.\n\nJeffrey S. Cramer is the Curator of Collections 
 at The Walden Woods Project’s Thoreau Institute Library and the editor o
 f Walden: A Fully Annotated Edition\, winner of a 2004 National Outdoor Bo
 ok Award\, and The Quotable Thoreau\, recipient of an Umhoefer Prize for A
 chievement in Humanities.\n\nHardcover copies of the book will be on sale 
 for $26.00.  Book-signing to follow talk.\n\nDoors will open at 7 PM for 
 a wine and cheese reception. Talk will begin at 7:30 PM.\n\nEvent is FREE\
