 \nIn THE END OF ICE\, Jamail journeys to the world’s “hot spots”—l
 ocations experiencing the most dramatic impacts of climate disruption—an
 d he climbs and dives alongside leading experts and front-line scientists.
 \n\nTHE END OF ICE is named as one of the Ten Best Science Books of 2019 b
 y Smithsonian and is a finalist for the 2020 Pen/E.O. Wilson Literary Scie
 nce Writing Award for exemplifying literary excellence while communicating
  complex scientific concepts to a lay audience. \n\nJoin Dahr Jamail as he
  shares THE END OF ICE\, his ongoing work\, and an empathic and practical 
 approach to our future. There will be an opportunity for participants to a
 sk questions following Mr. Jamail's talk.\n\nThis event is FREE but pre-re
