Back by popular demand, Native Concordian, world-renowned naturalist, lecturer, birder, and author Peter Alden will present his new memoir, My Wild Life: Rare Birds, Close Calls, and the Adventures of an Eco-Explorer. This presentation takes place on Saturday, June 13, from 11 am to 12:30 pm at the Walden Pond Visitor Center.
Alden will share stories and photos from his decades of travel to over 100 countries and 7 continents. Book signing will follow. Signed copies are also on sale at the Thoreau Society’s Shop at Walden.
No registration required, and this is a free event. Parking is free for attendees but is first come, first serve. All ages are welcome.
