DESCRIPTION:Join DCR (Department of Conservation and Recreation) archeologi
 sts onsite as they share their expertise and knowledge on artifacts found 
 at Walden State Reservation Visitor Center. You will see some of our recen
 t archeologic finds and hear their stories\, participate in hands-on activ
 ities\, learn about best practices for preserving accidental archeological
  discoveries\, and be invited on a 1/2-mile guided tour to Thoreau’s Hou
 se site to hear about local archeologist Roland Wells Robbins’ “Discov
 ery at Walden.” Tours will leave from the Visitor Center deck at 10:30am
  and 12:30pm. Bring your questions about urban archeology! All are welcome
