DESCRIPTION:Don't miss Terry Boutelle's exhibit of nature-focused paintings
  at the Visitor Center\, open now through July 2025.\n\n“Trees and fores
 t imagery prevail in these paintings. I use a range of materials\, from ac
 rylic to mixed media\, to celebrate the forest as it exists with minimal h
 uman presence. I aim to draw the viewer into the picture to imagine being 
 alone in the forest\, experiencing the environment\, the light\, and the s
 ilence.”\n\nA resident of Boston\, Terry Boutelle was born in rural Mass
 achusetts\, and spent her childhood exploring the surrounding woods and pa
 stures. She studied psychology\, philosophy\, theology\, and art history a
 t Boston College in the 70s and later received her MFA at MassArt’s low 
 residency program at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. Her work i
 s in collections throughout the U.S.\n\nThis exhibit is open to all and fr
 ee of charge. The Visitor Center is open every day from 10 am to 4 pm. Par
 king fees at the Walden Pond State Reservation apply.
