 nd individuals like Henry David Thoreau and Toni Morrison have protested a
 nd resisted injustices through their writing. The panelists will also disc
 uss ways in which we\, as individuals and as a society\, can remain progre
 ssive and resilient to current obstacles and social injustices through wri
 ting\, nature\, and art. There will also be time for an audience Q&amp\;A.
  \n\nPre-requisite reading is NOT required. Suggested readings include He
 nry David Thoreau's "Civil Disobedience"  and Toni Morrison's "No Place
