This is a preliminary finding aid to the 100,000+ items in the Thoreau Society Research  Collections of Thoreau-related research material housed at the Thoreau Institute at Walden Woods. This consists of material found in the following Thoreau Society collections:

These include essays, articles, lectures, manuscripts and drafts of published and unpublished material, correspondence, and images. For nearly 5000 books and other fully-cataloged items, please check the Henley Library catalog. 

Creation of this finding aid  is an on-going process which will take several years to complete. Please check back often as additions are being made regularly.
