"We are all schoolmasters, and our schoolhouse is the universe. To attend chiefly to the desk or schoolhouse while we neglect the scenery in which it is placed is absurd."

World Wide Waldens: Putting Thoreau’s Words into Action
Global, web-based environmental program for youth
This new program invites young people from around the world to become environmental stewards. Every community has a Walden, a place in need of our care and protection. Find yours and share your environmental project with others. Guided instructions lead groups through designing, implementing and reflecting on their projects. View student projects  from around the world.

Approaching Walden
