THE NATURAL SUBJECT

The Natural Subject lifelong learner series is organized around the theme of nature as a subject of art, broadly speaking.  Each program provides a format for artists, from photographers to poets, performers to painters, who use nature as a subject, to present their work, describe their creative processes, answer questions, and offer advice.  There are two programs a year, one in the spring and one in the fall, each organized around a specific art form, featuring four leading artists or writers in the region, and offering a follow-up workshop for interested participants.
