Discovering Walden Woods

Saturday excursions programs

HIkers pass behind Emerson Cliffs at the Walden State Pond Reservation

Discovering Walden Woods highlights the ecological, cultural, and historic importance of Walden Woods through presentations and informative walks.  The events are designed to cultivate informed stewardship among participants.  The Walden Woods Project holds two to three Discovering Walden Woods events a year at different seasons.  These programs are a great opportunity for families and friends to get outside and learn together.  All ages (unless otherwise mentioned) and experience levels are welcome.

A full list of programs at the WWP's Thoreau Institute can be found on our calendar.
