The Walden Woods Project invites you to a special afternoon talk and presentation by Thaddeus Holownia Sunday, October 3rd, 3:00 P.M. at The Walden Woods Project —Reception following— Canadian photographer Thaddeus Holownia is Professor and Head of the Department of Fine Arts at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick. In 2001, Holownia received a Fulbright fellowship to embark on a photographic exploration of Walden Pond, visiting the area in all its seasons, over the course of two years — a deliberate echo of the two years Thoreau spent at the site. He has dedicated most of his career to large-format view-cameras, working in black and white and color.
